diary entry three

i ran some errands with my mom today =) we dropped off some packages for my grandpa and bought some plants for the empty pots in our front yard. they're so pretty! i forgot the names of the plants, but we got two white, two yellow, and three pinks. i think my mom is going to try to plant them tomorrow before the rain comes back. we spent most of the day watching reruns of the early seasons of vanderpump rules. the people on that show are so annoying and frustrating but so entertaining LOL i cannot get enough of these grown adults acting like they're still in high school. like it's so funny to watch them explode over the pettiest shit. 

we picked up my dad's ashes a few days ago and put the box on his recliner with a framed photo of him, so it feels like he's watching the shows with us. i can hear him yelling at the tv when someone does something stupid. i miss him so much. we watched jeopardy and wheel of fortune after dinner for the first time since he was admitted to the hospital and it felt so weird...it makes me so sad to think about all of the stuff he'll never get to do. we'll never get to finish alaska daily or watch the new seasons of survivor or drive together or eat at black bear diner or anything. 

we're holding his memorial service this weekend. idk how i'm going to handle that tbh. having to see so many people, hear their condolences, host a dinner after...it's just going to make his absence so much more real. waaaaah. 

my mom and i were kinda looking at houses today. there's a very pretty mid-century home in our city with an atrium within the price range we set. obviously we wouldn't be moving there but it's nice to fantasize lol. 

idk if i have anything else to share...the wifi in our house is messing up a little so i might go play a game and turn my wifi off...vanderpump rules keeps cutting out LOL
