3/1/23 I'm gonna become a pool shark

Hi guys! Been a bit since an ACTUAL blog soooo, here it is! Actual blogs will prob continue be more spaced apart as some days aren't exactly that exciting sooo, I'll only be logging the fun ones! :D SO, LETS BEGIN. Today was pretty good, I had work which was boringgg, cuz it's been slow lately, and now we have this new lady who's really good at her job, like TOO GOOD! There's nothing to do nowww, prep and dishes are always done. She gets to everything immediately. I just stand around until a stray old man comes in for a sandwich, and even then SHE'S REALLY QUICK WITH MAKING SANDWICHES LIKE MOST OF THE TIME SHE JUST MAKES ME STAND BY THE REGISTER AND RING PEOPLE UP. tl;dr I don't like the new lady because she's way too good at her job and I have nothing to do. BUT. After work was great! A little bit of backstory though, last night after work I decided to explore town. I found this place I had been eyeing for a bit, it was a bar named Brewsters.

Now I know what you're thinking, "Noel why would you be interested in a bar you're 16." UHM, IT'S CALLED BREWSTERS??? LIKE ANIMAL CROSSING, OF COURSE I'M INTERESTED. So of course I walked in, and the atmosphere was great. Some old biker dudes sitting at one end of the bar, and some older women at the other end. Now, I expected it to be like in those western movies when the dude walks in the bar and everybody stops talking and looks at him but NO. Instead, one of the older dudes beckoned me to come to the bar :D I was a little awkward at first but after a FEW HOURS of socializing and meeting the staff, I got really comfortable there :D Everybody was really nice and welcomed me with open arms, like family!  Eventually this lady Tina, really nice woman, was like "Hey Noel there's a pool tourney tonight, wanna play?" Now, I've never played pool before, not once. So yknow I was all like ah no I don't really know how to play, besides I didn't have the money to enter. She was like, "I'll pay for you. You'll learn." And she kept asking so I HAD to. And well, I lost every game I played, as expected. But after the tourney, Tina, Michelle(the bartender), and Monty(Tinas husband) all taught me how to play! Some other pros were giving me tips and I just had a great time! So today after work, I decided to go back! I practiced a bit of pool, played a game with Monty, and he was really nice the whole time giving me tips and second chances to shoot. I had a good time and headed home! So yeah today was PRETTY good! :D I might go back later tonight, and definitely tomorrow, apparently Thursday is THE day to be there so, if anything happens I'll let yall know! :D Remember, be you and rock on 🤘Cya!      -Noel
