Science is truth. You can’t feel a certain way about science. It is how it is. You can prove to me something about how a honeysuckle grows, or how my fingernails grow. 

But what about everything that’s not science?

Nothing’s not science. Because everything is real. Something has to exist to exist, so it has to have a scientific explanation. 

What about the transparent, wiggly-wobbly blob that includes fairylike things such as…

Etiquette.

Culture.

Attractive and unattractive gestures.

How good art is.

Niche appreciation of something.

Dynamic between teacher and student, classmate and bully, stranger and follower.

You can prove to me how a tree is a tree. But, maybe, you can’t tell me how a human should act.

Do you know why? I’m not entirely sure myself. But I think it has to do with the fact that I’m a human at this point in time.

I get to choose what this one does, how it appreciates things, what notions it can grasp and create in its mind. 

I’m going to be disgusting, and not feel bad about it. We all go into the same dirt.
