steve ordered a bunch of fidget toys from amazon recently, because i have a lot and he really needed some of his own. i wasn't using fidgets much at school before the 13th but literally like. apparently violence and trauma and stuff will totally blast yr nervous system and i've had a really hard time sitting still and focusing since then.

one of the toys is a white plastic flower shape with a pop-it bubble on each petal AND it's a fidget spinner and i loveeee it. the pop-it part is really firm and toothy and i like the sensory feedback and it isn't too loud to use in class, and the spinning is a good visual and auditory stim, plus the way it whirs in my hand is really nice. toys like these r basically the only reason i'm getting thru calculus and chemistry rn.

steve really likes the stretchy worms, i think bc they're soft, quiet, nice to look and touch, and stringy so he can twist and braid them, as well as play with them in one hand. i'm so happy he likes them! but he needs to stop slapping me with them bc that's rude!
