a shorter break this time around, wouldn't you say?

jerma just finished streaming frog detective. i'll get to that in a moment, but some awesome news just dropped! his playing card game he's been working for two years (on march 6th) just released for pre-order. it's called grotto beasts, and i love it so much. the whole team did an amazing job, i have so much praise for everyone involved. i ordered the starter kit and a booster pack right away! i've been saving since christmas, which was difficult for me to do, but i just had enough to pay for those two, as well as international conversion and shipping. living in australia sucks some times :(

anyway, back to frog detective! the whole game is absolutely adorable. the whole style and general vibe of the game is so lovely. i think it's a really cute thing throughout the series that the frog himself has a blog. it's very silly and almost too cute. that's actually how i remembered to log in today!

did anything interesting happen in your day? i know our meetings are few and far between, but i like that i can stop for a moment and speak with you. even if you just listen, i admire that you've taken some time to stop and grant me your patience. maybe in another life we were frogs, and we happened upon the same lilypads by chance. or we were fish, swimming side by side in a school of great mass.

though, today, my friend, we are but two birds on this branch. our conversation is fleeting, but i find comfort in the thought that no matter how long i am gone for, or however long you may leave, we will always come back to this great tree. 

even if just for a brief moment, i enjoyed our time together.
