[ALBUM COVER]

About The Album:

In Tongues was Joji’s debut EP. The standard edition was released in 2017 by the amazing 88rising and Empire. Later a deluxe version was released on February 14, 2018 which included 2 new tracks and 8 remixes.

[ARTIST PHOTO]About The Artist:

Joji, AKA George Miller, is a quintessential meme lord of the mid 2010’s. Not only was he one of the founding fathers of the Harlem Shake, he has made MANY crazy videos. I don’t even feel like I need to say much more about him, because you probably already know. If you don’t…. Look it up if you dare. He released some rather memey music as Pink Guy between 2014-2017, and started making more serious music as Joji in 2015-now.

My Opinions:

I really REALLY enjoyed this album when it came out. Joji has a beautiful voice and the atmosphere and emotion of the album is so floaty and charming and sad. I was mid-way thru high school when he dropped this and it definitely took a chokehold on me for MONTHS. I remember listening to Worldstar Money on loop on the way home from school in the car. It is actually one of the only songs I ever learned on my ukulele before losing interest in it T-T. I don’t really listen to Joji anymore, but I will always love this EP, as well as Ballads 1.
