Journal 2.28.23

I was pretty gobsmacked tonight. I got my college entrance results and i passed for my very wanted course. I'm so excited to start this new phase of my life.

Truly, february was a month full of blessings. At the beggining of the month ― due to some negative situations that occuried ― i thought it'd be a really heartbreaking moment in my life, but there's always a rain before a rainbow. What i mean is that there's always a new beginning after an end. And that's exactly what happened.

Not only my college entrance results, but other blessings i've been receiving in my life.

Maybe sometimes, that really bad thing that happened to you is just a blessing in disguise.

I truly thank God for all the good things that've been happened... the bad too, because without it i'd never felt so good.

"My dearly beloved, be strong, I shall be there always here beside you [...] The shadows of this world will try to steal you away into their arms, but you belong in mine."

Whoa, how very well put! That's been exactly my experience recently, too. Won't go into details, but it's just as you said. I've been overwhelmed to the point of tears by just how much the Lord had been blessing me, and appreciating the fact that what felt heartbreaking at first was actually necessary and for my good. God is so awesome.

The last quote is from a song calle my dearly beloved - AmaLee inspired by Kingdom Hearts Game series, but these lyrics speaks more than just a game for me

Ahhh, I wondered where it came from. It sounds like a mix between something in the New Testament and something in Isaiah or something.
