we're very much workshopping a 'steve harrington & ferris bueller both attend UIC in the 80s-90s' kind of deal and have like a fling. we were talking abt ferris visiting hawkins of a weekend and that place has got a STANK in the air.

ferris knows abt the govt conspiracies and the mall fire bc of the news, but hawkins is soooo much weirder than that. his hijinks don't work on hopper. and hopper hates him. everybody is sooo weird and he's starting to think that maybe steve is weirder than he anticipated. 

he gets back to his dorm and immediately calls cameron just to say "we are never going to indiana." and then he hangs up, which never happens, and cam's so worried he calls sloane to ask if she knows if ferris is okay.
