There was a recent blog shared to me that was about some insensitive opinion which made absolutely no sense.

"i literally have a trans friend and he even said idc if u dont see me as the opposite sex cuz i know i'll never be that. saying the wrong pronoun to someone is not homophobic nor is it transphobic i never said i hate anyone or that im prejudice nor do i fear anyone in that community. that is the definition of homophobia and transphobia. ur not going to sit here and police my language just because u feel a certain way or u feel important, ur not special so im not going to treat u like u are. ur arguement is weak because u contradicted urself in ur statement and u knew u were running out of things to say so u resulted to name-calling. just because i have a different opinion, i would not dare call u a christophobic because u dont think Jesus or God is real so why do it to me?" - pwouty
my response to that was, "even if your trans friend says that, don't you think it's most respectful to use the correct pronouns on them? using the wrong pronouns on a person is homophobic/transphobic (when you're purposely doing it) because you are well aware of the terms they're most comfortable using yet you decide to use the incorrect pronouns. and when did i ever say i felt important? this post doesn't even apply to me yet im still saying something cus the things you're saying are obviously incorrect, and a bunch of people obviously agree. and if my argument is weak, how come ive brought up more understandable claims in this argument that could be backed up, compared to your nonsense that i'm trying my best to understand.. and who wouldn't start name calling? you're not understanding what everyone is trying to tell u, so at least one person has to result to name-calling. and lets be fr, who doesn't start name calling people when they're upset about something?"

yet they continued to argue with me. the arguing did eventually stop, but that also meant they were deleting the comments. im not sure if it was because they realized how incorrect and offensive their statement was, or because they felt embarrassed. if you guys could report this person, it would be vv appreciated!

Christians shouldn't force their beliefs on people just as people shouldn't force prns and stuff on people. I'm stating this from my perspective since FORCING things on people isn't right, I myself had to deal with it coming from a christian. If you misgender people then you're in the wrong in a way but that person should know that they'll never be a female/male/whatevr that the other person claims them to be as (hope that made sense-) People nowadays shouldn't force stuff on people, although people should learn to respect others pronouns/neos and sexuality. If they want to be this then let them be that, it's not your place to choose for them. It's 2023, let's not force stuff on people y'all :)
I don't really agree w when u said "If you misgender people then you're in the wrong in a way but that person should know that they'll never be a female/male/whatevr that the other person claims them to be as (hope that made sense-)" because if a person was originally female and decided to become male, they would be a male. if they feel most comfortable with being a male, you need to respect that and view them as a male, nothing else. but yes i do agree with how you've said that bothing should be forced onto you and how pronouns should be respected.
