*Tried* playing the Sims 2! - ramble

I really enjoy The Sims as a whole and when it comes to art style the Sims 2 is def my favorite, but yeesh!
I downloaded a copy of the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on oldgamesdownload.com and honestly found myself rather bored more than I would be with TS4 :L

Which is saying something, as I adore The Sims 4! Though, I had to uninstall it recently as the game became a buggy mess after the shitty binder update. To which this just has BEEN HAPPENING with newer updates, and not being able to use ANY of the new scars and medical assets (as well as the buttons getting fucked) was the last straw for me.

I do use CC, but nothing that would cause serious damage. The only thing that I could imagine that would mess with the UI was my 4 column CAS mod I had in which it would give you 4 columns for your slots (clothes)
Which even then, why would it seriously fuck with the buttons IN THE WHOLE GAME AS WELL AS THE MENU. 

Planning on buying the Sims 3, though mainly because they have horses and a few other reasons... All I wanna do is make my queer little cowboys.
