Am i Bisexual?

My first date... with a girl.

I've never really thought about girls like that but I thought I'd try it out. I downloaded Bumble and set the settings to girls. I definitely matched with a few but I'm HORRIBLE at messaging first! A lot of them expired but one girl messaged me and she was really sweet. She said she was bi and was looking for someone to connect with so I thought why not? We met up at the beach with her two dogs and went for a walk. She had a little dash hound and a cavalier, super cute! It was really nice, the weather was great and because it was a dog-friendly beach there were lots of puppies! Afterwards, we went to a cafe and chatted over smoothies. She was great, but I didn't feel a spark. I think I might give it another go but I definitely lean more towards guys. I'm 100% attracted to masculinity, so that's something.

Tell what your sexuality is and a bit about your journey of self-discovery. I want to know some of the things people have done to find themselves. That's all for now babes, bye! xx

you could be into adrogynous women. they lean more on the masculine side.

I'm thinking I'm androsexual. Androsexuals are sexually, romantically or physically attracted to the general notion of masculine people. But that doesn’t mean that the object of their attraction has to identify as male. An androsexual person could be attracted to somebody who simply looks like a man. Only one way to find out!!

I’ve never even heard of that before. That’s so interesting. Well congrats to u on taking the confident full stride forward to exploring/experimenting your sexuality. Full support!

Sounds like you had a lovely day, even if it didn't go anywhere!! ^^

My experience is super different to yours, before i knew i was a girl (i'm trans), i was into girls up until the end, when I was pretty much only into guys. And then I met my current partner, who is quite the image of a masculine lesbian, just before I transitioned, and my world was so shook (in the best way). I now identify as bisexual, but mostly only for masculine people :) My advice- don't underestimate how masc a girl can be ;)

YES! Amazing story, I'm so happy you found someone. I'm thinking I'm androsexual. Androsexuals are sexually, romantically or physically attracted to the general notion of masculine people. Bisexual here!! Congrats on exploring your identity! :) I hope everything goes well for you, and that you find a label that you feel the most comfortable with.
Bisexuality is a spectrum. Not everything is 50/50. So you can have a preference for men/masculine presenting people, but still find women/feminine presenting people attractive. And ofc, vice versa. Either way, you'd still be bisexual because you find 2 or more genders attractive! :D

And when it comes to my own journey to self identity, I kind of always knew I was bisexual since I was a very little girl. I always found others to be attractive, despite gender identity. I just didn't know a name for it until I had internet access in middle school. When I found the term it just made sense. Ofc I had my own battles of truly accepting what I'd face being bisexual, especially in the southern states, but as long as I had people around to support me, I knew I'd be okay :)
