First, you need a photo hosting site. I use imgur.
Upload photos there.
Next, open on of your photos and copy the html link. You can post that to your profile and it should appear fine.
To add photos to a blog or bulletin, open that new blog. There's a bunch of little icons above the text window. To the far left or far right (depends on your browser) you'll see an icon that looks like two wee arrows. Click that, and it should now look like an eyeball.
Paste the html code into the text box. Then, click the eyeball, it will look like arrows again, and your photo should be visible. You can now type what you like, and/or post the photo.
