Once I dreamt the poles shift
And I called my mother
And I am a dog
I just sat up and begged
Open my eyes just to see that the inky skies peel from their anchors
this whole town is so changed
"good god"
Absolutely nothing
One thousand moons behind my eyes
Simply sat in this freezer
Shivering and cold
Some days I feel so old
Especially the sun
