What is Bite Club? 
Bite Club is a fake vampire show that I've created a cast of characters and (some) rough plots for! It's heavily based on tropes from existing vampire shows, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Vampire Diaries.
Main Characters
Jamie
- He/him transmasc genderfucked lesbian, mid 20s, autistic
- Name may change :P
- Bite Club's protagonist!
- Grad student currently studying myth and folklore at [unnamed university]
- Disabled, uses forearm crutches & sometimes wheelchair
- Previously a laid back stoner who kept to himself and threw himself into his studies. Now he's overwhelmed by the existence of the supernatural (and his roll in their power struggles) and doesn't know what to do or think.
- So, so tired. He still has to write his thesis!
Minerva ("Minnie")
- She/her trans femme lesbian vampire, several centuries old (exact age hasn't been solidified)
- In the Angel/Stefan "good guy vampire love interest" niche
- Currently posing as a teacher's aid under the professor
- A painter who's gone by many names throughout the centuries. Very passionate about her work & art in general.
- Old enough to have a lot of control over her vampiric urges, etc.
- Very friendly and funny, but can come off a little strange because she doesn't have a great grasp on modern technology/slang/etc.
- A little out of touch with humanity in general, and gets overprotective of any humans in any dangerous situation because they're mortal.
Vincent Greeves ("Vince")
- She/he/it butch lesbian
- In the Spike/Damon "bad boy vampire love interest" niche
- Turned into a vampire in the 70s, has been a vampire for ~45 years
- Stubborn, passionate, hot-headed but sensitive (though he won't admit it)
- Lurks on the university's campus to feed on drunk college kids
- Her sire killed her friends before turning her. She still wants revenge on him, but he's a much older, more powerful vampire
- It's very entrenched in the dark, monstrous parts of vampirism and doesn't really see that it can still be a person instead of just a monster.
- Self destructive danger hog :P
- She has 2 stray cats she takes care of in her shitty little apartment she's kept since the 70s.
- He gets a redemption arc & shit later
Other Characters
Marcos
- They/them nonbinary aroace, also mid 20s
- Jamie's friend and roommate. Also a grad student for molecular chemistry or some other smart science shit
- Once they learn about the existence of the supernatural, they begin to dabble in magic and become the cast's resident witch.
- They experiment with combining chemistry/science and magic with extremely mixed results. There have been explosions.
- Mad-scientist adjacent and a little manic, but they mean well.
Dominic
- She/he genderfluid bisexual. Maybe still in undergrad?
- Placeholder name, it'll probably change
- Very goth werewolf that people keep assuming is a vampire because of her general vibe. This pisses her off.
- Vain know-it-all but a loyal friend
- Creative writing major who subjects everyone else to his mediocre angsty poetry on a regular basis.
- Either met Jamie in a writing class or a class on myths who knows. Maybe a monsters in literature class.
- Very tired of being dragged into the gang's shenanigans, but is confident that they'd be lost without her help. She is not as helpful as she thinks she is.
Professor
- Currently unnamed and undesigned
- Jamie's thesis advisor and head of the whole myth/folklore program thing.
- Secretly uses the university's resources to do research on actual supernatural stuff. Working with Minerva to try to figure out whatever omen & big bad is coming in "season 1" and how to stop it.
- Big mentor to Jamie, especially after he gets involved in supernatural shit.
- Used to be a monster hunter, but now they're like. 50 and tired.
Viidalia
- She/they
- Look at Season 2 down there ↓ for context on whats goin on with them
- Subject #7 of the Facility's "master experiment" and the longest surviving specimen. The rest either died of complications or were put down.
- She has lived in the lab for 5 years with no memory of anything before then.
- Frankenstein's monster: transfem vampire edition. She has the body of a vampire (for wound regeneration + near invulnerability + possible immortality + bloodlust), the arms of a demon (clawed hands for weapons, superior strength). and the legs of a werewolf (amputated from the original were while transformed, so they are always wolfy legs. for running speed + endurance + lower body strength). She was also given the heart of a once powerful witch to see if it would infuse her with any magic, and to pump blood from her undead body to her (kind of) living limbs.
- They were constantly put through trials of physical strength and endurance, combat ability, and additional surgical/scientific experimentation.
- Skittish, quiet, and generally nervous. Bonds deeply with Vincent when they escape the facility together and tends to follow it around like a lost puppy.
- Easily startled like a horse while shes trying to get used to the world outside the lab, but she eventually learns to relax.
- Later on she's more bubbly and fun and loves wearing bright colors and eating sweet treats.
Midas
- He/ze transmasc girlboss vampire. 250 ish years old?
- Extremely campy gay coded villian type. But actually gay. Motivated entirely by money and the power it brings. Billionaire with tons of illegal shit funding his extravagant lifestyle.
- Gets super pissed off with the gang when they help Viidalia and Vince escape from the facility, destroying much of it in the process. Ze promises ze will make them regret destroying hir property and profits.
Story Pieces
(i am not a writer lol)
Main Premise
- As a child, Jamie was very close to his great aunt. She would always say their family was cursed. He dismissed these claims, thinking that she was either just old and confused or that she was referring to genetic disabilities that he developed later in life. Even so, this peaked his interest in the supernatural world, later leading to him perusing a degree on the subject.
- In his classes, Minerva is drawn to him and realizes the magic in him and draws him into the supernatural world. She asks Jamie to help her and the professor in preventing [whatever the season 1 plot is. I don't know yet]. Confused, he assures them he's a normal guy. Minerva insists that she senses seer magic in him. At some point he brings up the "family curse", which they realize is probably why he has no "powers".
- They all decide to break his curse so he can help with [undefined s1 plot], but they need something to do it or something. It takes several episodes for them to do that for whatever reason. They then break Jamie's curse and he has a vision leading them to something that can stop [undefined s1 plot]. In general, his visions drive a lot of the plot in the show from this point on.
Other Shit
- Minerva was madly in love with another seer centuries ago. On their death bed, they gave a prophecy to lead her to Jamie far in the future, to prevent [s1 shit]. She thinks that Jamie is her old lover reincarnated, which draws her to him in a more personal sense.
- She falls in love with "new Jamie" as well, and they start dating. She tells him about her old lover and that she thinks they're connected. He kind of shrugs it off saying that even if it's true, he doesn't have any memory of it. They stay together for a while, but it eventually becomes clear that Minerva is subtly trying to trigger memories (like setting up a date or other situation like one that already happened with her lover, to recreate the event) and has been unconsciously treating him as if he were them occasionally. It does work and trigger some of their memories. Minerva is ecstatic, but Jamie just apologizes and tells her that even though he remembers some of their time together, he just isn't that person anymore. So they eventually break it off.
- As previously mentioned, Vince wants revenge on her sire that killed her friends and turned her into a monster. At one point he comes to town [maybe hes involved in the main s1 plot who knows] and Vince demands to fight him. Her sire totally kicks her ass and nearly kills her, but leaves her alive because he doesn't think she's even worth killing.
- Jamie & the gang see Vince on the verge of death, and he advocates that they should help it. Minerva reluctantly agrees, and they help it recover. While in recovery, Jamie & CO help it realize that even though it's a vampire it can still be just a person too.
- He slowly tries to pull himself out of being a "monster" with the help of the gang. Struggles with it because letting himself feels again means dealing with the guilt of killing others and the grief of seeing his friends killed. He gradually gets better over the series, occasionally struggling with it etc etc.
Season 2!
- Vince, now working to redeem himself, is kidnapped and imprisoned in a laboratory [similar to the institute from BTVS or the augustine society from TVD].
- The gang originally thinks Vince bailed on her recovery and fled, but eventually they learn about the facility that captured her and realize what has happened.
- While captured, Vince learns that the facility [temp name lol] has been capturing supernatural creatures of all kinds to experiment on them. Their main goal is to determine if they can either 1) somehow 'brainwash' and weaponize supernatural creatures for their own use or 2) determine if the strength and/or powers of said creatures can be granted to others through limb or organ transplants.
- I haven't decided what they do to Vince yet. dw about it.
- While trying to find more information about the facility, the gang learns that is bankrolled by Midas in an endeavor to make more money by selling limbs and weaponized creatures on the black market. Midas is mostly uninvolved in S2 but it leads to him being a major villain in S3. I'm still working this out.
- Eventually Vince and Viidalia escape together, aided by Jamie and the gang.

This is wonderful, the characters all seem really cool! I have a vampire of my own, (I absolutely realize this makes him sound like a weird pet but whatever) and he's like my favorite OC I've ever made!
