The concept of favorites is a bit of a statement, isnt it? To declare something as a favorite is kind of an act of defining some part of your personhood, making your aesthetic and emotional values outlined through the work of others. So I wonder what TPATC says about me? In any case, all the songs production is phenomenal. I think its one of the song from kkb's oeuvre that best aligns with their magic pop manifesto. Im not a musician or a bald guy in flannel, I couldnt describe to you what about the production makes it so special, its just something I feel, like all other things. Perhaps TPATC resonates with me because I am entralled with stories that create their own mythology, only to ask the audience if the consequences of the mythology are worth it. I dont think TPATC is this extreme, but by the end, what the song is asking you to resonate with freedom from the fairytale.
