Random dream I had recently (tw for death and dark bullshit)

oughh this is gonna be jumbled, just a fair warning. also! my dreams are quite often Very Fucked Up. read at your own discretion.

the dream: that time i got electrocuted

so last month i took a nap on the couch in the living room (not that long, like 15-20 minutes tops) and while i was asleep i had this dream that i was negotiating a deal with some kind of mobster style character. someone i knew was there, and he was begging me not to take the deal, whatever it was (it was vague as to what i was agreeing to, as well as the consequences of it). i took it anyway because im and idiot, and i ended up getting a PC tower out of it.

the dream jump-cuts to me laying on my back outside on the trampoline, poking around in this PC tower. it's basically a shell, with very minimal wiring/computer-y bits in it, but i remember it was still humming softly despite being off. then i pressed on a piece of machinery that was left behind and the entire thing whirred to life (i'll take a moment to clarify that it wasn't plugged in, i was holding it over my head outside in the middle of the yard). i remember being very lucid at that point and saying (verbatim) "baby girl, why is you buzzing?" in a very tired tone before being violently and realistically shocked to death. the strangest part is i could feel everything. my tongue swelling up as my muscles spasmed, my eyes rolling back in my head, the electricity flowing inside me. i tried to push it off of me, to get away from the horrible feeling, but my body was too weak on account of all the shocks n such being pumper through my system. i remember going through all the stages of grief before finally accepting that i was dying.

and then i woke up.

i could still feel the aftereffects of the dream (my tongue still feels too big whenever i think about it), and i remember being so shook and confused as to why i was still alive. i also remember asking my younger siblings if i had had a seizure while i was asleep (highly unlikely but it was the most logical explanation to someone who just woke up)

i think to this day it's one of the craziest dreams i've had.
