COnfUsed (a spoken word)

I have never shared my poetry/spoken word anywhere. So I thought I'd try to in this new space. I'm copying and pasting straight from my notes, so ignore grammar.

as i sit and reflect

All the things I deflect

I lose my cool

And I can’t seem to collect

My self 

And the tears that shed

My life is a book that he read

But I can’t get past the 3rd chapter 

I’m suppose to be some sort of adapter

But I can’t understand what’s going on 

How I can I go with the flow

When my

When my destination is west

Because you know we go leftttt to righttt 

But the water is flowing up stream??

I literally scream at the thought of my confusion

My goals seem so far away that this life shit is looking like an illusion 

I’m going to stop right there and make that the conclusion 

Because I’m still lost so at what cost would it be me for me to give you an answer
