I'm a huge simmer. If you don't know what that is well let me tell you. It's a person who plays The Sims, but not just an average player. I mean technically all sim players are simmers but generally speaking you'll see it used for the hardcore Sim players. Now as with all games they can be modded. If you're like me, you'll be looking pretty much every day for the newest CC (Custom Content) and mods. Technically those are the same yet different. CC is generally used for items such as hairstyles, clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup, etc... MODS are stuff that changes the game play itself, such as added new vocal interactions, poses, adding new foods, adding illnesses, etc.. There are your vanilla players, that don't use any CC or mods. Some like to just use mods and the rest is all from the game, while others are CC and don't use Mods. And then there's me and a bunch of other people who use CC and Mods together (to me this is the best way to play). Unfortunately, with that comes updates and broken mods/cc. This is usually after a big update to the game itself. For instance, currently there was an update because there is a new game expansion coming out soon. It broke a couple mods. Even after updating them, I noticed my gameplay was bugging out. So of course, the last few days have been cleaning out my mods folder. It seems like a hassle, but I found a ton of duplicate copies, which can impact your gameplay experience. Be that as it may, play the game how you want to play it. Vanilla, only cc, only mods or play with all the cc/ mods you want. Either way have fun!
