okay i looked into runes a bit and this was one of the first easily accessible sources of information there was.
it seems that runes are pretty similar to tarot/oracle readings in terms of divination, so i'm very much looking forward to giving it a go! :] i think it's just a matter of feeling my way through it. if it's meant to be something i work with, then it'll feel right to do it.

Oh runes are really fun!! I used to work with them in highschool and part of college. I preferred my tarot and oracle decks, but runes were definitely rly fun. I had two sets; I don't remember what type of stone one was (it was an artificial "gem" stone, they looked like the night sky though and I had such a deep connection to them! Some of them broke and then got lost in the move). The other was this little kit of tiny clay slabs w the runes carved+painted on them+it came w a handbook (this was my first/starter set that I used until I got more comfy w them and got the other set).
Less commonly, some ppl also make their own sets with their own symbols, or symbols that they have connections with. Which seems insanely fun to me, though I never tried anything like that ;^^
I don't rly expect you to have images of runes or symbols anywhere and you probably will already find this in your research and context is Always important ofc, but I do wanna add that as you're researching them, just make sure to cross check w the hate symbol database bc unfortunately some of the common rune symbols are unfortunately used in some... Really unsavory places to mean some rly horrible things.
waugh... that sounds lovely... i guess they broke and got lost because that was their Time but still, sad :(

it really probably was their time, but still such a shame o7 i dont think ill ever go back to working w runes bc i almost always have vibed harder w my tarot, but i hope if you give them a chance it goes smoothly and the rune sets you come into contact with greet you warmly!!
