here's an image of the tarot deck i want, by the way.
it's so pretty... sighs wistfully. just the deck itself is 69.99 with like. ~50 shipping to australia. and that's in canadian dollars. it's so expensive and i can't find it anywhere on ebay or amazon. however i do think that when i can afford it comfortably it will be worth it. the box set was the one that cost like 130 (excluding shipping), and that includes a detailed guidebook. just this deck is 69.99, and it comes with a brief guidebook anyway. which is perfect for me as a fairly beginner-intermediate witch.
when i saw this deck being used in that witchtube video i felt like i just had to have it. it shimmers and shines so beautifully even through camera like you can't tell me that's not Magic, that that's not calling to me. i've bought many decks recently, most from aliexpress, and i do know that when it comes down to it, there's no real difference between those cheap ones and the premium exclusive ones like the animated tarot. but! there is a difference in the way that they speak to you. there's a difference in the way that they resonate and vibe with you. there's a difference between the way some decks are just... meant to be yours. i felt this way about the Tarot of the Divine, my first deck, and about the Moonology oracle, and about Starseed oracle. even to a lesser extent the Sacred Forest oracle, but now that i've cleansed it, by god is the Sacred Forest my current favourite.
i definitely need to cleanse all my old and new decks (except Sacred Forest maybe?) on the next Full Moon. i'm really excited to work with my dice and runes... i've never used them before, so perhaps i need to research a bit into how they work. i have seen witchtubers use them, but i've never heard of any of the processes behind cleansing or upkeep. i think i'll look into that now.
