i can't stand mcr emos

people who treat MCR like its the emo band of all time annoy me to no end. for one thing mcr is hardly emo and for another thing there are just so many other bands to listen to?? its only 2020 poser emo mfs who think they're emo and don't know any other bands below the surface level too... like its genuinely not hard to find more actual emo bands than just ptv, mcr, fir, paramore etc. and this is coming from someone who likes some mcr and ptv songs (esp ptv)

tl;dr: if u think MCR is the height of emo do more research into the subculture ur tryna be a part of lmao
