first post!!! welcome back to 2.0 :)

hii this is just me messing around with the blog entry editor ^_^

im not too sure what i'd like to make my spacehey experience like... its been many years since ive seen myspace's old layout. ive grown up quite a bit since then, but i always enjoyed the "web 2.0" aesthetics.

this is probably talked about a lot here, but i find myself so disinterested in modern web. nothing really packs the old punch as these old website giants used to!! livejournal, deviantart, myspace... it was all, like, my home away from home. i would come home from school every day and binge watch as many videos as i possibly could.

nowadays, as someone who is semi=professional in my field, i dont really have time to fool around online as much as i used to. as i said, im kinda getting old. my body is already starting to show symptoms of arthritis (which is why i type so weird, i guess! lol my joints hurt) and im quickly approaching 30... im not ready... ;_;

i think a lot of people in my specific generation feel kind of lost, especially in online spaces. we saw a lot of change happen so quickly. this new internet is nothing like the old internet in anyway... it feels a lot less genuine. i dislike it quite a bit, actually. it feels like my home got torn down in front of my eyes.

my refuge is no longer my refuge, and my home is no longer my home... kinda funny how its true IRL as well as online! getting old in this era kinda sucks, i think i want to become a lot more unapologetic than before.

Let us oldies find a new way to operate a cooler underground net. :^)
