So uh lately I've been watching videos on peircings by professional piercers and they say "do not pierce yourself with a gun"  "Do not pierce yourself at home"  "Do not pierce yourself with kits off amazon"

Then there's me who got pierced 7 times with a gun at home with kits off amazon.......   

I did get pierced once with a hollow needle like you're supposed to. But I did do it at home with a kit from Amazon..... the 6 lobe piercings healed nicely (eventually) but the 2 helix piercings I did got infected so I had to take them out
