I am Jack's fave films

Primal Fear (1996) ——

Defense attorney Martin Vail (Richard Gere) takes on jobs for money and prestige rather than any sense of the greater good. His latest case involves an altar boy, accused of brutally murdering the archbishop of Chicago. Vail finds himself up against his ex-pupil and ex-lover, but as the case progresses and the Church's dark secrets are revealed, Vail finds that what appeared a simple case takes on a darker, more dangerous aspect.

Ed Norton's super cute in this ^_^ I love having this play in the backgrounf while I do any work. I also love love looove anything law-based. Martin Vail is my idol for real. Also the father/son dynamic between him and Aaron is so... I heard that the book is amazing so I'm planning on getting on that soon. As for anyone who's interested

Fight Club (1999) ——

A depressed man (Edward Norton) suffering from insomnia meets a strange soap salesman named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and soon finds himself living in his squalid house after his perfect apartment is destroyed. The two bored men form an underground club with strict rules and fight other men who are fed up with their mundane lives. Their perfect partnership frays when Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), a fellow support group crasher, attracts Tyler's attention.

FIGHT CLUUUUUB!!!!! #1 comfort movie. I want Tyler Durden to swoop me up in his arms and take me to Paper Street and beat me up every other day and let me fix his bowtie and deliver me from being perfect and complete and andddd......

Ahem.

Anyways.

I thank Chuck Palahniuk every waking day

Bullet Train (2022) ——

Ladybug (Brad Pitt) is an unlucky assassin who's determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs has gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans as his latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe -- all with connected yet conflicting objectives -- on the world's fastest train.

I. am. NORMAL. for this film!! I recommended this to everyone who had the unfortunate fate of conversating with me. Bullet Train is 2.7 hours of straight up FUN! It just.. GRABS ONTO YOU. I was as engaged on my 387286772046075th watch as I was on my first. I researched on it's filmmaking and behind the scenes a lot and GOLLY, THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY

Se7en (1995) ——

When retiring police Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) tackles a final case with the aid of newly transferred David Mills (Brad Pitt), they discover a number of elaborate and grizzly murders. They soon realize they are dealing with a serial killer (Kevin Spacey) who is targeting people he thinks represent one of the seven deadly sins. Somerset also befriends Mills' wife, Tracy (Gwyneth Paltrow), who is pregnant and afraid to raise her child in the crime-riddled city.

Morgan Freeman talks in this, Brad Pitt is gorgeous, what more could you need? being fr now, THIS MOVIE IS ART. I was FREAKED! And if you know me, you'd know that I love getting into the nitty gritty of films...DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS A GRAPHIC NOVEL FOR THIS FILM?? AND IT SHOWS A DEEPER RUN-DOWN ON JOHN DOE AND A BEHIND THE SCENES OF HIS MURDERS???? WELL HERE YOU GO! viewer discretion is advised

Swiss Army Man (2016) ——

Being stranded on a deserted island leaves young Hank (Paul Dano) bored, lonely and without hope. As a rope hangs around his neck, Hank prepares to end it all, until he suddenly spots a man (Daniel Radcliffe) laying by the shore. Unfortunately, he is dead and quite flatulent. Using the gassy body to his advantage, Hank miraculously makes it back to the mainland. However, he now finds himself lost in the wilderness, and dragging the talking corpse named Manny along for the adventure.

YOU'LL UNDERSTAND IF YOU WATCHED IT. DANIELS, YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN!

Ocean's Eleven (2001) ——

Danny Ocean (George Clooney) is a man of action. Less than 24 hours into his parole from a New Jersey penitentiary, the wry, charismatic thief is already rolling out his next plan. Following three rules: Don't hurt anybody, don't steal from anyone who doesn't deserve it, and play the game like you've got nothing to lose. Danny orchestrates the most sophisticated, elaborate heist in history.

EVERY MAN'S DREAM.... I developed a FAT MAN-CRUSH ON DANNY OCEAN. (by the way, I'm talking about the franchise as a whole in this) THE HEISTS ARE ALL SO FUN, I PHYSICALLY COULD NOT STAY SEATED DURING MY BINGE. Ocean's Eleven and Thirteen were my faves  Group of guys stealing for.. well, the sake of stealing! How cute!
