nostalgia trip.

I really missed the lawlessness of Myspace. I can remember being 18 years old in 2004, at the computer lab shown that website for the first time. I was a nerdy awkward kid (still am) who got to meet tons of new people for the first time. the "Scene" was born. For the next few years I remember some absolute rager parties planned through the website, I met lots of people I still talk to to this day. There was an earnestness to it Facebook lacks, a DIY aesthetic that clashes with the corporate boilerplate of Facebook. The worse site won, somehow everyone kinda knew that but sometimes things go sideways. Anyway i'll close this inaugural rant by saying I really missed blogging into the wind.
