date with boyfriend today 🦖

going out with my boyfriend to downtown today and i”m SO EXCITED!!! 

if we decide to go to the arcade i want him to check out my totally awesome dance dance revolution skillz!! (i actually suck at the game but i make dance moves while im doing it so i look cool). 

i always like these dates because to be fair im very bad at reading text and knowing how a person feels through text and theres times where i feel he is mad or angry or annoyed with what i say and i get a little anxious because i can’t read the tone of his texts so then i start spiraling thinking i somehow did something wrong, but then seeing him irl i realize i am just stupid and he’s happy and everything is okay and i was worrying about nothing! 

spending time with him makes me smile so much. i’m a person that enjoys comfortable silence, and i know that’s something he’s still getting used to, since we both have social anxiety and silence can often be very awkward LOL. but i think the closer we get, the silence will start becoming comforting :-) we’re learning to talk easier and state what things we like, and i’m trying to learn to not get flustered so much (that may be a long process….)
