late 2000s/early 2010s found footage - thinking about making a short film

So I'm moving out of my apartment soon and back in with my parents (they have an apartment attached onto the side of their house where my grandma used to live, and that's where I'm moving into after my lease is up) and they live way out in the countryside. I'm thinking of making a short low/no-budget found footage film once I move back using one of my old cameras. I'm taking that camera to Ireland with me when my choir visits in May so I'm going to try and get used to how it handles taking videos and stuff while I'm over there.

I love analogue horror and found footage, but I specifically want to create something that caters to MY childhood nostalgia and fears. Idk yet, but it's an idea I've been tossing around in my head for a while.
