cheers to the weekend Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ! ! it's the week after valentine's day...that does not stop me from blogging what went down during pocky making party

today's outfit 

i think i need to buy more pink clothes...i've worn this top one too many times but clothes are just not a top priority in my spendings  but going out with my friend to pick up extra supplies for pocky  then we're going to decorate it at my house!!!  (< that's me and friend)

preparations turned out to be an epic fail  turns out we did not buy enough chocolate and everything turned into nothing once we melted the choco . . . .also made the grave mistake of mixing two different brand chocolates, overheating it, then adding oil to save it from being chunky (white chocolate melted perfectly though ) after we thought we were saved....

we couldn't pop them out of the mold at all

reasons why the molds failed:

1. overheating (we used the double boiler method *while the water was still boiling. lesson learned: bring the water off the stove)

2. chocolate was not tempered: instead of shiny chocolate we had matte, gritty chocolate that breaks softly ...goodbye sanrio pocky 

*for some reason...we failed to google why our chocolate was chunky at the time

the show must go on 

white chocolate had no problems  so shiny and perf  

pocky we had on hand  (backup that we had to use): 

1. strawberry

2. matcha

3. mint choco

+ meiji chocolate fran

with toppings:

1. strawberry chocolate

2. oreo crumble

we have to deco our package with labels and stickers

pinkchoco's mandatory equipment: mimi dica, nintendo ds, samsung digicam, rilakkuma label maker, purikura + file stickers  i need to take pictures with at least three different cameras or else i will die  (real)

had a splendid time decorating these with my friend ...fear not the packaging is made of parchment material so i'm going to peel these right off and stick them back where it belongs after i eat them

the day is over  would i rate this a success.....yes  pinkchoco's first attempt at decorating pocky filled with epic fails  and cuteness

*actual valentine's day: went to class and was piled with work to do  i did watch an episode of kimi ni todoke for the culture  

happy belated valentine's day
