IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE FRIENDING ME!!!

to everyone who has sent me friend requests:

please... if you are under 18, do not friend me. if i accepted your request without realizing youre under 18, please unfriend me.

i am 24 years old... i was once that kiddo who went & befriended adults & i have to say, please stick with your own age range. many adults who are willing to be friends with kids online are dangerous. while i would never do anything like that, i still do not feel comfortable being in the same space as minors.

i encourage all minors to avoid befriending adults as much as possible. yes, even if youre "mature for your age." find other people who are also "mature for their age" in your age group, but not adults on the internet... speaking from personal experience, 9/10 times i befriended adults online when i was a minor, i was taken advantage of, even when i thought that i was mature enough to recognize & avoid these things. by allowing minors to friend me, i feel as if i am encouraging them to keep befriending adults when they shouldn't be. so i do not wish to be involved.

from this point onward i will only accept requests from people who list that they are 18 or older. im sorry to bum out any of you teens... i promise i dont look at you as lesser because youre younger, i just dont want to encourage the behaviors that led to me getting hurt when i was y'all's ages.
