the flood of 2021...

hey guys and gals:

yet another ranting and raving post. lol. hope it's not boring for you all, haha.

i was in a flood of 2021! It was Hurricane Ida. What a hoe. LOL! Just kidding ofc. But it was awful for everyone. My apartment complex lost everything. It's now boarded up and damaged to the core. Ugh. I feel so bad for everyone and not just what I went through. My family was a few doors down from me. They lost everything too. I couldn't save stuff. A lot of it got damaged from water and got moldy on it. I couldn't keep most of it. Or any of it really. I did save a few things from it though. I thank the lord and Jesus Christ for saving me. He saved me from being homeless. I was in a hotel for four months. In November 2021, I found my forever home. I've been here a year. I don't plan on going away. God helped me pull through. I felt like he was guiding me. My Aunt (god bless her) took me to get some items for my apartment. I went to Walmart. I love Walmart!! LOL! So I got some stuff there. I also ordered from Amazon. Fema a company gave me money in replacement of things I lost. It was a good amount. A good sum of money I got from Fema, Thank you Fema!! I was truly blessed to have what I have now. My family was a god send. We all pulled together and worked with each other to make sure we got what we needed. The state helped too. I got a $1,000 from the state. :) I was truly blessed. I'm still blessed. I have a nice place to live. I don't live with my parents. I got my own place. I love it. I couldn't ask for better. Please do pray! God hears you and answers in the best way he knows how. He is watching and he knows.
