Junji Ito's Maniac

I finished Junji Ito's maniac last night. How do other people feel about it?

I enjoyed it but thought it was a bit bland like it was missing many elements that felt scary or disturbing. Maybe they wanted to tone it down to get a bigger audience...

It was nice because I love Junji Ito's work, and it meant I could share it with my friends who wouldn't usually get into his work. So, that made me feel happy.
