Comfort Creatures

I’ve always drawn horror art. Lately though, I just want to sketch simple, happy things. I like dragon quest.  

Blue, round, bouncy slime. Its minimalism is comforting. Staring at nothing, permanently grinning. Just a blob. 

This is Don from the rhythm game Taiko no Tatsujin. 

He is a happy little drum. Canonically, 

He is unable to think of very complicating things.

I want to be more like that. Lately, horror fiction has grown stale. I appreciate cute little things that make me forget.
