Asbury Revival

Besides the weird balloon thing, another great phenomenon is happening in a Kentucky college campus, which is changing the way my generation is viewed.

Basically, a chapel meeting at Asbury University started last week and never ended. More people started gathering and now people of all ages from all different states are coming in droves to pray and witness the great revival happening.

And people my age started it.

Well, I guess God technically started it, but it first impacted college kids. My long-distance friend took a couple of her classmates. I wish I could go, but I live so far away. However, I believe that this isn't just a local phenomenon. It might spread to my hometown. We have a lot of college chapels around here that need something like this.

To be honest, I'm not excited for it because a lot of people are allegedly being "saved" and all that. It's just that I'm glad that my generation is finally seeing hope like never before. I always hated how we're known as the dumb and suicidal age group. Even when I thought I could avoid it, just seeing so many people around me, my friends, my siblings, etc. with all these problems traumatized me to the point where I became no different.

So I'm glad I got to live to see this happening. Even after the whole thing ends and everyone goes home, they'll carry that revival back with them. This is could lead to something even bigger.

This is so awesome. I can't wait to see what will happen after this.
