That’s how my life was for the next few years, making machines and gadgets for Scarlet that helped with whatever problem she and David found. I ended up meeting this David guy and he wasn’t half bad, but I could tell he didn’t like me one bit, and I’m not sure why. As I did more and more learning of magic and illegal dark magic I learned why and decided to confront him about it.
“Hey, David! Can I talk to you?” I smiled at him sweetly and Scarlet let out a sigh of relief, as he had been pestering her with questions. I also noticed he had been subtly flirting with the lesbian, so I chose this as the best time to confront him, saving my best friend in the process. The larger male glanced at where Scarlet had been standing, she was now halfway across the room talking to a girl with short dyed hair. He turned back to me and scowled, following me after flashing him another sweet smile. I led him to my lab, which was now in the basement of the larger house we had built for the President of our new country, who of course, was Scarlet.Â
“Go ahead and sit down, I have a lot more chairs now. Not sure why I need so many.” I muttered the last past but he seemed to catch it as he sat down.
“Let’s get this over with, couldn’t you see I was going to finally win her over?” I scoffed at his ignorance and took a seat across from him.
“Sorry man, Scarly’s a lesbian. She likes b00bs, not d!cks.” David had a look of pure shock on his face and I burst out laughing.
“Thanks for telling me then, I guess.” He was barely able to stutter out that sentence as he stood, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Sit back down, that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about.” He glanced at the door and complied.
“Now before I start, I just want to let you know that there is no security footage down here, Scarlet wanted to respect my privacy, so nothing said in this lab, will leave this lab. Understood?” He gave me an extremely confused look and nodded.Â
“What’s this about?” I opened a drawer and pulled out a file, tossing it on the table, the stack of paper sliding towards him.Â
“I know you don’t like me, and I don’t like you, either. These files give me more of a reason to dislike you.” I watched his face as he tentatively opened the file and took a look at what it held. His face turned white as a sheet.
“Where did you get this information!?” He had a panicked look on his face as he met my eyes.
“I’ve been studying magic as a way to bring my machinery even further.” I looked at him calmly as he went through what I had in the file, photos from the security cameras, suspicious things he had said, and even the results of a DNA test.
“You’re a demon.”
