rampant antisemitism in america is one of the biggest issues our country currently faces.
but whenever jews point it out, we're told we're being "overdramatic".
IF A JEWISH PERSON TELLS YOU THAT SOMETHING YOU SAID, DID, OR SUPPORTED IS ANTISEMITIC.
IT'S ANTISEMITIC.
please, for the love of G-d, LISTEN to jewish people.
the holocaust wasn't that long ago.
it CAN happen again.
and with the way things are going right now, there's a very good possibility it could.
i fear for my safety.
i fear for the safety of my mishpachah, for my jewish friends, and for the jews i will never meet.
i wear my star of david because it makes me feel connected to my family, to my heritage.
it reminds me that they have endured suffering and hardships too, all the way back to theneo-babylonian empire, through the centuries long diaspora, through the persecution in the middle ages, and through the mass genocide of 6 million of us during the holocaust.
when i see other people wearing this star, i feel safe. i feel like i've been reunited with a long-lost family member. no matter our differences, we have one thing that brings us together.
but now this beautiful symbol, this symbol that has been ours for so long, this symbol that was used to shame us but has been reclaimed with great power is being used to make me and so many others a target.
antisemitism doesn't just happen through extremist acts that are very much public.
most goyim in america know not to take kanye seriously.
but antisemitism, like all other forms of discrimination, is discreet.
it slips into conversations.
it goes unnoticed by goyim.
when we speak up, we are ignored.
and the hate continues to get worse.
lizard people, globalist elites. these are just a few examples of antisemitic conspiracy theories that are normalized and accepted today.
jews were used a scapegoat in nazi germany.
the same is beginning to happen today, but with ideas of hollywood elites, blood libels, and pizzagate.
but goyim laugh it off and ignore it. because that is what they have always done and will continue to do.
unless we do something.
i know i'm not the only jew scared right now. my mishpachah, my beautiful, unknown extended family, we need to unite and fight against the extremism in our country, lest it continues to spread.
goyim. educate yourselves. LISTEN to jews. ask what you can do to help. learn about antisemitic tropes and correct any antisemitic things or behaviors you might have done.
goyim is the hebrew word for non-jews. the singular form of it is goy. a lot of antisemites will try to claim that it is a "slur against non-jews" but in reality, it's not. simply just another way of saying someone isn't jewish. a word that goyim consider to be less offensive (despite the fact that goyim isn't offensive) is gentile. it means the same thing as goyim/goy does.
when did i say i didnt care about that ? genocides of any kind are not a good thing. but im not even talking specifically about the genocides of jews, im talking about modern day antisemitism. anytime jews speak out against antisemitism and talk about how much it affects us, there are always people bringing up other past or present issues. dont you understand how inappropriate this is ??!?! this is not the response you should be having to a jew talking about the antisemitism in his country.
Exactly! I did a report earlier this year about Golems and the amount of anti-Semitism I was faced with in class was absolutely insane. I am so tied of growing up with antisemitic remarks being yelled at me all day!
I’m so sorry. It’s so hard to watch the world get more and more hostile to your people and nobody cares, and just continues to contribute to the behaviors that makes people think its okay. I hope the world gets better soon, but tbh idk if that’s going to happen. Stay safe.

Is there anything I can do to help? I'm tired of simply worrying about my Jewish friends and their families and not being able to do anything.
