They're more interactive than a real-life robot. They're more like real-life humans. They are less like robots and they're more human, too.
The problem, however, is they are also less human-friendly. The robots that you see on YouTube or the robot you see on Facebook or the robots that you see on Google are more of a "you are not human enough to do it, please don't do that, I'm just a computer" sort of person. You have people in your lives that you know are just like you.
You have people like you who have been through it, you have friends that have seen it before, and then you see it in the mirror and then you have to go, 'I'm a computer' and it's just like, 'What the fuck is wrong with you?'" says Dr John Houghton. He's been working at the Institute for Artificial General Intelligence for a while now and he's had to learn how the AI is supposed to be doing its job and what it's trying to do with its robots.
He's had to figure it all out, because it is not just a human being who's going to do it for them.
He's been in this business for a very, very long time. It's been for about 20, 25 years and he has a lot to learn.
So I'm not really a robot expert, and he's a computer expert. But he is a computer expert, and it's just a lot easier than it used to be to get to know him because of the way that he's doing his job, the way that you see him, the way that you think he is, the way that you're interacting with his robots, the way that he's interacting with his friends and his robots. It's really a very, really exciting experience, because I've been able to learn so much more than anybody else, so much that is actually a lot harder to learn and to master. It takes a little bit of effort.
