lego elves ending is disappointing

i finished watching lego elves the secret of elvendale and i expected more from the ending

cronan didnt deserve to be forgiven, at least not by everyone

he manipulated and tricked everyone, even emotionally manipulated rosalynn and naida even harder

physically and verbally abused the goblins

attempted and almost succeeded at killing rosalynn's dragon

killed almost the entire forest

emotionally manipulated goblins with magic

made the animals go feral

and now everyone is suddenly "noooo his mommy died and he's sad :("

and forgave him???

id get if it was the main crew, but not rosalynn at all

she was the one tricked for the longest and hardest, had her own land destroyed and was forced to live by herself impotent and powerless to all of that

she had no reason to forgive him just with that information

and not the goblins too! they suffered so much! how the hell you can say they still love him?

and to add insult to injury they briefly mention "the amulet made me evil" trying to remediate, probably knowing it wouldnt be enough

and it really wasnt

and he barely ever showed remorse for his actions! even at the end!

if they really wanted to go this route they could've made at least only naida forgive him and the others just tolerate him a bit for her and let space  off-show for him to try to do stuff to make up for all of this

i loved the show but this ending was so unsatisfying and lackluster, thats not how you do a satisfying redemption
