I think the book was pretty good. There was never really a boring moment, especially at the end where it got really intense. The ending was pretty twisted and disturbing, and I do wish that more signs pointed that Mr. Ward was the culprit, and I don't think that there was a reason for Becca to try to kill Pippa. I also wish that the author made it more clear who people were in the book- I didn't really understand why Pippa referred to Mr. Ward as Elliot, or her parents as Victor and Leanne. But overall the story was engaging to the point that I finished it in one school day, and I really enjoyed it!

☆ i havent read the second book yet as it's not in my school library, but if i do read it and decide to review it i'll add it on to this post! same goes for the third book
☆ for context, the book is set in 2017/2018, making the case 5 years old

Oh my god. Best series to ever exist in my opinion; the second book hits HARD but it's soo good, I recommend it completely. You can get the second book online or my local library had it aswell. Although, I haven't gotten round to finishing the 3rd book, from what I've read it's so good. 1000% read.

Yea i do agree! Its a rlly good book the sequal the one after tagt are pretty good to but the socind got me a bit confused there is also a prequal but i havent read it yet :0
