tw: huge rant about the abusers/predators/shit ppl on here, & the creator/"mods"
i
am getting so sick of going into the blog section and its all filled up
with "be aware of xyz" "why xyz is gross" etc., and hear me out;
this
site is FILLED w young ppl and sadly a bunch of gross ppl want to take
advantage of that, this entire site has become a place of weekly new
predators and it just doesnt feel fun to look through the blogs (obvs).
not
only is it an ineffective way of getting these shit ppl out of here, to
do it through mass warning in blogs, you shouldnt have to have a massive amount of kudos to get a shit person out, and
it makes it sm harder for ppl to perhaps talk about the things they
have experienced if no one knows where to go and talk about it, AND it
only gets attention if its on display for everyone and strangers who you
might not feel so comfortable to see. ppl who
went through shit on here also might think/feel that theyre bad if they
dont warn others publicly and get pressed to do things they dont want to.

what ive seen, ive seen like absolute 0 moderators. actually none.
theres only the creator of the site that ive seen here but for 8/9
months i havent seen any mod, so either theyre super bad at making it
visible that theyre here to protect us, or the creator doesnt give a
shit and has created a site filled w filthy opportunities for shit ass ppl.
i wish this place had proper moderators,
actual moderators who you could dm to instead of having to make a blog to
warn all of your friends bc shit isnt being done fast enough AND its not
fucking healthy? this site is to be yourself and have FUN, the shit
that happens along the way u should give a
mod the warning to and then talk to your friends if you wanna, but instead its so hard to get bad ppl out, the place is filled w endless public
statements about different kinds of shit ppl and is full of toxicity.
to the creator of this site, you
have a site that is obvious to any stranger that its filled with
kids/teenagers. bring in some proper mods, or replace whatever ones
you have. monitor the blogs so it isnt an endless vault of
triggers to those wanting to read smth nice.
im NOT saying ppl shouldnt speak up, they
def should,
its just the way that is super ineffective bc theres no proper mods and
theres no proper filtering for ppl who dont want to get triggered.
these statements should be easily accessible to ppl who
wants to see it without forcing EVERYONE to see it.
idea: create a
separate category for trauma triggering subjects so that ppl can still warn their
friends about ppl, bc that is the thing ppl will
give kudos to the most to push it up so everyone can feel safe, but it
defies the purpose of blogs when it becomes a report full of trauma that
a mod should have instead, the blogs are so triggering to look through bc its right in your face. anyways, the triggering category will immediately not be able to go on top blogs but it will still be able to become top blogs in its own category when you click there. that way, if you seek out to know this information you can still see what is affecting a lot of ppl through the top kudos, without having immediate triggers when you seek out top blogs from across categories.
this idea is only solving the trauma trigger issue, its still not enough to actually having these ppl out of here faster. that can only be done w getting moderators. the groomers are STILL roaming and you might just get groomed yourself if you try to live in a "peaceful" bubble in a place that def isnt peaceful. by the time one is banned (if that has ever happened? idk) u hear about 4 new shit ppl.
correct me if im wrong (i say that to the ppl who have reported before) cus ive never seen anyone get banned on here, but perhaps they have, and perhaps it was fast enough. from my perspective tho it doesnt look like anything is happening w the way that i hear too many new names of gross ppl weekly :i

heavy on monitoring the blogs. i literally found someone who was writing public blog entries documenting them trying to lose unhealthy amounts of weight in.. unhealthy ways with no trigger warning whatsoever like holy shit

WXACTLY BRU. im always seeing like "oh beware of ___" like WHERE ARE THE MODS. i see blogs like that everywhere and theres a giant pedo problem ive had like 3 pedos contact me and nothing ever gets done abt it, shitty ass mods
i rly dont think there is any mods. truly, been here for a year now n never seen a single one
