2023 so far...

I'm currently on vacation...winter break. I made a quickie beer run after work, & went down to the marina to clear my head.

The old diva is doing very well - replaced another O2 sensor, & it seems to have done the trick. Still stalling out on me randomly, but hopefully when I get some more cash on her card I'll take care of that too. Oil gauge seems to be behaving better lately - no more cratering out on the redline after 10 miles on the road. Happy car, happy driver, right?

I just renewed my registration to get it out of the way, & she even has new tags now! I'd been meaning to do that since I first got her, but the money was an issue - plus I was confused as to the procedure (Did you know that you can get custom tags anytime in NY as long as it's not too close to your renewal time? I honestly did not know that!!!).

I still need to get new floormats as well as the front piece that covers the license plate. Then it's just routine stuff, I guess - oil filters, spark plugs, wires, brake pads, wipers - and I really want to replace the running boards, too. I should prolly wait until I decide what to do about the paint job, but honestly it doesn't look THAT bad - yet! It's really tough trying to juggle car expenses with home upgrades (AND GROCERIES OMG!!!) but I'm trying to be optimistic. I honestly wish my social life could be this easy - but that's another Pandora's Box.

Anyway, time to enjoy my week off...
