Ghost (the band) and the impact the community has had on me so far.

So if you follow my page I'm obviously a huge ghost fan! And the community that I've seen has been nothing but amazing and supportive! The art is beautiful, the people are kind and the writers are so talented. However with this positivity there's also something i noticed, there's a lot of problematic behavior. Particularly surrounding, the way the members or the band get drawn by certain artists and hot takes on the ghouls and their personality. A lot of issue comes from people not making their art cannon to the actual papa/ghoul they are modeling it after (i.e. making the thicc ghouls skinny or changing the papas noses) in order to make them more "conventionally attractive." I personally take issue with that matter because while artists visions are more than okay, i don't feel as though fundamentally changing a characters entire appearance to fit what you think is societies standards of attractive, is okay. 

Overall the ghost fandom is a pretty calm sweet place, i cant wait to dive deeper into it, however i do hope that everyone can remain respectful of each other!
