Hell Followed With Us is a YA post apocalyptic horror novel about a trans guy who's just escaped a cult. Also he's a bioweapon. The group of survivors he joins are from the local LGBTQIA+ youth centre which means a large chunk of this books side characters are queer. There's a lot of trans characters in here and even a secondary character that goes by xe/xyr pronouns. Also the love interest is autistic and as an autistic person I can say that the chapters from his perspective are very accurate representation. 

Some of the story elements in my personal opinion could have been fleshed out a little more and I am a bit dissapointed the book ended were it did but overall I definitely enjoyed this read

Also the writing style is very ADHD friendly I got through this book in less than a day.

If this is making you want to check out the book just please check the content warnings and take them seriously because this book goes pretty hard with some of the horror elements. There's a lot of gore and body horror in here and a few other things that might potentially be a bit too much for you so please make sure you actually read the content warnings. 

But that being said if you're into stories about going through hell and coming out on the other side this is probably worth checking out.
