#makemusicorlose The more we open our
minds, the brighter the possibilities for our futures! For
me growing up it was get discriminated against or lose.
Putting up with daily racism was tough. Being asked
out as a joke, manipulated, abused and cheated on
because of the color of my skin was the only life I could
have in a town where the color of your skin determines
your fate. There were entire groups of people plotting
to make sure I went extinct. There was a plot to murder
me that got foiled. I survived their attempts to silence
me and I left those old fake friends behind. Okay? So it
was really escape racism or lose for me growing up.
How did I escape? Well I got out of an abusive
relationship by playing dumb until that person dumped
me, and I got away without having any children with
them. I solved my own murder and it brought me back
to life, although I never physically died. I was dead
inside from trying to appease the people who want me
to disappear. Now it's PROTECT CHILDREN OR LOSE.
And one way to protect children is to give them
constructive outlets for their feelings. My outlet was
music and we all deserve to have access to the arts.
Keep up with this project because we have a lot to say and we're ready to rock.
