gahhh im so excited.

ALSO very curious about the character(s) in these pictures

the first one looks like an inkling (i've seen someone on youtube say that this might be agent 4... it's probably not but i hope it is. i miss them)

the second one... they have octoling-shaped hair (no visible suction cups but this might just be a stylistic choice?) but pointy ears like an inkling ?

there Has been talk about a possible new species coming to splat3 and this could do something with that? idk. inktolings would be cool. not even as playable species im just interested what their story would be like...

there's also another image with agent 8 (i'm assuming the main hero here is agent 8?) and another character cut out with just their shoe showing and it looks like marie's shoe? i don't think it's marie personally buuut still. eight isn't alone in there. maybe it's the same character from the other two pictures

WELLLL those are my thoughts.... if the date in the eshop is true then we're gonna have to wait for a loongg while for side order...
