Today I thought it would be fun to post my series of videos from my 2018 visit to Las Vegas. This was a great first time experience for me. It was my first time visiting Vegas and also traveling west past like Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, or Minnesota. So much more I want to explore out west. I'd love to do and old fashion Route 66 trip like Justin Scarred or Adam the Woo. Unfortunately a road trip was not practical this time around, but someday. As a first time Vegas newbie I did get suckered into one of those timeshare presentations lol. But thankfully I escaped with nothing more than wasted time. We stayed at Excalibur, one of the more budget hotels along the strip. Even though I didn't do a lot of gambling, I may as well gamble for cheaper over at Four Winds, I just enjoyed walking outside and through the various casinos.
One of the big things I missed out on last time that I will have to check out next visit is Downtown Las Vegas. Not that I have a particular establishment in mind. Just want to see all the neon and light up roof. Honestly I'm probably one of the few people who could go to Vegas and not gamble, barely spend any money, just explore, and be perfectly happy lol.
One of the things I WILL be spending money on though is Area 15's Omega Mart! One of those random things I've discovered just a few months ago and have become unhealthily obsessed with! The retail aspect, the Dramcorp lore, all the secret doors and passages, what happened to Marin Dram?! If I have the money and time I may just fly down there to check it out! Can easily tell you if I lived in CA or AZ I would of done a daytrip and driven there by now. Since discovering Omega Mart, I've begun researching Meow Wolf's other exhibits as well. All I can say is I hope one day they open something near Chicago. Until then, I look forward to the day I make it to Omega Mart to see what's in store for me, be the one to finally unlock the Source Door, and save Marin like some real life Mario game! I am very happy that I can now gamble. It's really very fun interesting. I'm very happy that I can do it now.
