Okay, This is a very common problem. Because it's still very fresh, you don't always know what's happening behind closed doors. This could be a situation where your bf might treat their family badly and the way they respond is unfiltered because they don't care who's around. Sometimes people treat their families badly but treat others better and it becomes this mixed variation of their personalities. My advice would be to try and spend more time with the family and get to know them. If there are siblings then that would be the best way to find out about the family dynamics. This can seem sneaky but if they're not a good person and are being fake to your face then this can help prevent them from hurting you in the future. However, the family could truly be the issue causing problems and treating each other badly and in that situation then you want to offer safe spaces to your partner like visiting your house more or going to public areas instead of their house. I do recommend investing the first option first to make sure you aren't being manipulated. Then when you know you're safe you can assume the family is in the wrong and help your partner. ALWAYS put yourself first in the relationship. ALWAYS
