Creepypasta review - X-Virus

Length & layout:

For me, X-Virus is the perfect length. It's layout is simple and satisfying, making it an easy read in my eyes.

8.5/10

Story:

I'm going to be honest: The story did feel a little bit rushed in this specific pasta, but it made sense. That's what matters to me, and I generally enjoyed the story itself.

7/10

Scare factor:

I felt that X-Virus was more of an origin story for the titular charecter than 'scary'. Despite enjoying this pasta, the lack of scare/horror makes it lose points in this department.

4.5/10

Compared to other pastas:

Haven't really got much to say other that it read like an origin story that made sense. I'm all down for mysteries but this at least had events with reasonable reasons behind it. X-Virus himself, or Cody, was a charecter in the grey zone. He wanted to contact experiments in the name of science, but his somewhat ambiguous motives that are frowned on by his peers makes him slightly more realistic to me, rather than being strictly good or evil.

8/10

Overall:

Like I've said before, this pasta feels more like an origin story than a story of X-Virus's crimes, and I would like to see some form of a sequel of this pasta that is about his crimes/deeds. I thought this was a pleasurable pasta to read as it is rather short and dosent fill up a ton of space with unnecessary details.

Overall score:

28/40
