Someone asked me to be their valentine, and I realized I don't even know exactly what a valentine is. Are you dating? Like each other? Simply establishing a mutual tolerance? Has this always been up for debate? Has it ever been up for debate? I didn't know what to say (but I don't think I do want to be valentines). Is it the autism that does this to me? Who knows, but that is my philosophical question for today

I don't think there is a "being valentines". It's either something couples do as a cheesy show of affection or used as a chance to open up about feelings. Of course there's platonic valentines too.
