HEYY sorry i was gone for a while i was on holiday and didnt bring my computer ;'D but still im here to rant abt splatoon again :33
so basically ive been rlly RLLY into splatbands/splatoon music recently and one of my favourite bands is ink theory!!!! PLEASE listen to broken coral by them it is SO good if ur into freestyle jazz,,,, the members r ADORBS too. i have a lot of love especially for yoko, the trumpet player, because i relate to her a lot :D
i was reading about her on the wiki and through some translated interviews and apparently she gets anxious from high pressure situations and she also has a genetic mutation where all of her tentacles are seperate colours!??!?! like how cool is that????
speaking of genetic mutations in splatbands can we talk abt how namida from squid squad has no line between her eyes like usual inklings?? its so strange how i only just noticed this.. :0
i wouldnt say shes an inktoling considering its only the missing line between her eyes (her suckers are on the inside of her hair like a regular inkling) but maybe this implies that inklings can be born without it or can cover it with makeup for a stylistic choice?? idk if you know more abt this please tell me because i would LOVE to know!!!!! >v<

HELLO STRANGER I HEAR SPLATBANDS AND I COME RUNNING. I have no idea if comments on here have a text limit (Bc i wrote a lot) so if it gets cut off then. Well whatever anyways.
My theory for namida's eye mask is that it's probably a genetic mutation, as inklings can even have colored eye masks or ones with well Eyelashes like bibi and namida and the idols
octolings can Also have colored eye masks (like the octarian soldiers)
I adore splatbands not just because of their music, but their personalities and designs are so unique they really open up a whole new world of possibilities for designing your own character! i always love to see non-ink/octoling ocs. like raian (or orion, if you refer to them by their localized name), they're a flapjack octopus but they aren't an octoling!! That's so interesting!!

I love love love that the devs decided to actually give them LORE. Like. They didnt have to do that?!"@: but they Did because detail is so important and it's what makes splatoon feel Real. There's personalities behind those albums of fish in the weezer pose. They have rivals, friends, and families. I love ink theory and bottom feeder just because they HATE each other its so funny. And mizole as well, he shares the same voice actor as ichiya which is so funny because mizole hates ichiya. For no reason too!! And then he gets influenced by ichiya?!??!? What is going on with him................
As for my fave band, i Cannot pick one theyre all so amazing
