one of my pet peeves is how whenever i search up "y2k aesthetic" on something like google images, i always get pics of that pink mcbling stuff & never that sleek blue, cyber, cool stuff

mcbling is that pink 2000s aesthetic characterized by bling-bling (hence the name), this color, & animal patterns on random things such as bedsheets & curtains. it personally makes me think of bratz dolls & girlsgogames haha

authentic y2k is the technology-centered aesthetic known for its unique design trends, colorful transparent technology, & cool blue color scheme. it gives off a strong retro-futuristic vibe, & is by far my personal favorite aesthetic (｡･ω･｡)
